On July 19–21, 2013, the Octagon House hosted a fun-filled creative arts workshop and retreat with projects such as sun printing, felt flower-making, and crafting coasters with fusibles.
Instructor and Artist
Nancy Bryant, a studio artist who lives in Oregon, began creating art quilts in the mid-1990’s. After a 30-year career teaching apparel design courses at Oregon State University, she retired in 2004. In her studio, she creates art quilts, scarves, a small apparel line and silk flower sachets. You can view her work at www.altavistastudio.com.
